Day 1

Travelers can reach Kochi via train or air. There are two railway stations in Kochi.
  1. Ernakulam South
  2. Ernakulam North

Ernakulam South is the main junction and it is the busiest of the two.

The nearest airport is Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL). It is the largest and the busiest airport in Kerala. There are flights to and from all the major airports in India, Middle East and other regions.

Passengers will be received by Bluebird travels and from there onwards you will get a chance to experience our unique hospitality.

Visit Chottanikkara temple on Day 1 of the tour itself and get blessed by both Mahavishnu and Rajarajeshwari (The Divine mother or Adiparashakthi) at the same time.

Chottanikkara is about 17 kilometers from Kochi and it will take roughly 30 minutes to reach there.

This is the only temple in India where “The Divine Mother” or  “Adiparashakthi” is worshiped in three forms on the same day. Rajarajeswari (Adiparasakthi) is worshiped here in three forms Saraswathy in the morning, Lakshmi at noon and Durga in the evening. To add more positivity to the worshippers’ mind, on the same pedestal, there is Mahavishnu. The combinatory energy flux of two main deities that surrounds the Srikovil will make you feel so much like a dragging force upon you. Chant their names together Amme-Narayana, Devi-Narayana, Lakshmi-Narayana and Bhadre-Narayana and attain the ultimate tranquility. Along with Lakshmi & Narayana, there are idols of Brahma, Siva, Ganapathi (Ganesh), Subramanya and Sastha on the same pedestal.

The most important festival is Chottanikara Makom thozhal on the day of Makom in the Month of Kumbham in Malayalam Calendar. That will be in February or March of the Gregorian calendar. It is believed that Bhagavathy in her full attire gave darshan to Vilwamangalam Swamiyar on the Makom day and appears on the same day every year for giving darshan to the devotees in her special appearance. The Bhadrakaali at Kizhukkavu is believed to exorcise the evil spirit from devotees, after conducting bhajanam.

After the blessed visit, passengers can return to Kochi on the same day itself and continue with onward journey according to bookings. Blue Bird Travels will arrange airport and Railway station drop.
