DAY 1: Arrival at Kochi and drive to Munnar

Arrival at Ernakulam Railway Station. Blue Bird Travels’ chauffeur will be there to receive you. Next, proceed to the Nature-lover’s paradise Munnar located 1800mts above the sea level. Breathtaking beauty surrounds you en route Munnar with endless stretches of tea plantations, misty mountains, rolling meadows and spectacular waterfalls. 

On the way to Munnar, there are stopovers to see the fascinating Valara & Cheeyappara waterfalls. The waterfalls may not be available from January to May in the summer. After spending some time enjoying the waterfalls, arrive at the resort & check-in. Overnight stay in a resort.

Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of the beautiful places in Munnar. Munnar is famous world over for its tea plantations and has many other places to be one with nature. In your Blue Bird Travels’ taxi, you can visit the Flower Garden, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point and Kundala Lake where you can enjoy the beauty of nature at its very best.  To know more about the history of the Tea plantations and how authentic Tea is manufactured, you can visit the Tea factory & Tea Museum. Day 3: Munnar – Alleppey

Proceed to Alleppey, “the Venice of the East” after a sumptuous breakfast. Alleppey is one of the best backwaters destinations of Kerala. On arrival at Alleppey, check in to the hotel/houseboat.

If you have chosen stay at hotel

• Relax at the hotel in the afternoon, and in the evening, venture out for sightseeing. Visit the Alleppey beach, Revi Karunakaran Museum & go shopping at Mullackal street.  
• Or you may go on a day cruise to experience the mesmerising Alleppey backwaters. Overnight stay at the hotel.

If you have checked into a Houseboat

• You can be at peace in the lap of nature on a Houseboat (Kettuvallam) at the backwaters. For the next 21 hours, you are in a floating villa. With a leisurely cruise, you can enjoy the backwaters of Kerala. Watching the sunset on the backwaters is a beautiful experience! (Check-in time 12.30 PM – A/C will be operating from 9.00 PM to 6.00 AM). Early morning wake up to the waking calls of the water birds and the murmur of the backwaters. On the day cruise, you can get glimpses of the village life at close quarters. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Overnight stay at the houseboat.

Day 4: Alleppey – Kochi (Departure)

• After breakfast check-out from the hotel/houseboat and proceed to Kochi in your Blue Bird Travels’ taxi.

• Enjoy sightseeing of Cochin – Fort Kochi, Fort Kochi beach, Chinese Fishing Nets, Jew Synagogue.
