The main attraction of Paniyeli Poru is the milky-white waterfall which can be seen from the distant shore. A 1.5 km stretch of trekking through the riverside pathway will take you to the waterfalls. Only the most adventurous hearted people can reach there as it is highly risky to cross over the layers of rocks and mangroves. Even when the water level falls during the hot summer, it is dangerous to cross over the strata of stones, unless vigilant. It is advisable to enjoy the beauty of water bursting through the rocks, by sitting on the shore.
