One of the ancient places of worship for Muslims in Kerala! Beemapalli Dargah Shareef is a Dargah which is dedicated to Beema Umma who was a member of the family of Prophet Mohammed. Beema Umma and her son were believed to have travelled from Arabi to preach the Islam religion. There is a common belief that the medicated water from the wells of Beema Palli is capable of curing any disease. The main festival of Beema Palli is the Urus Chandanakudam festival held annually in memory of Beema Umma and her son Sayyidussaheed Maheen Aboobaker. They were laid to rest at the Beema Palli.
