You are greeted on arrival at the Kochi Airport. Pickup & proceed to Munnar, the beautiful hill station on the Western Ghats at about 1600 meters above sea level. On arrival check in at the hotel and the rest you day is at leisure and enjoy the visit to Munnar Town. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 02: Munnar
After Breakfast explore Munnar, this is town is situated at the confluence of the three mountain streams Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. There are also lakes, reservoirs, forests and several tea estates. One must see the Eravikulam - Rajamala National Park known for its Nilgiri Thar (a mountain Goat). This national park is situated in the Munnar forest division. Later visit the Indo Swiss Dairy Farm project, here are about 100 varieties of high yielding cattle are reared. Visit the rose garden. Opposite the Swiss farm is the Mattupaty Lake a beautiful lake surrounded by an excellent golf course. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Munnar – Thekkady (110 kms 3 hrs)
Morning depart to Thekkady. On arrival check in at the hotel. Later in the afternoon leave for Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary to board the safari boat to view wildlife in their natural habitat. If you’re, lucky you may see Wild Elephants, king cobra, other reptiles, wild boar, tiger, leopard, wild dog & monkeys. Return to your hotel for overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Thekkady – Kumarakom (130 kms – 03 hrs)
After breakfast check out and proceed to Kumarakom. Reach & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Kumarakom is one of the few places in the world where the means for transportation is through boats. Kumarakom is blessed with the Vembanad Lake which has its majestic canals, streams and distributaries along its banks weave an intricate and enchantingly beautiful web. The major attraction of Kumarakom is the Bird Sanctuary which lies at the edge of the grounds of an old estate where a profusion of all kinds of birds can be observed. Domestic birds such as cuckoo, wild duck, egrets, darters, herons, teal, and water fowl can be seen in abundance here, and the Siberian storks which migrate to this place each year. Day 05: Kumarakom – Alleppey (Houseboat)
Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to the boat Jetty, board the traditionally decorated houseboats and begin the enchanting backwater cruising. The backwaters of Kerala are a unique product of Kerala and can be found nowhere else in the world. A glide in a "Kettuvallam" (Houseboat) through the enchanting backwaters is sure to rob your heart. You’re in a watery universe, so quiet, even you can hear your own blood pumping around your head. After breakfast on houseboat, check out & proceed to Kanyakumari. On arrival visit to famous Swami Vivekananda Memorial, Kanyakumari Temple, Gandhi Smarak, Sunset Point, Triveni Sangam etc. Overnight at Kanyakumari.
Day 07: Kanyakumari - Kovalam (70 kms / 2 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Kovalam. On arrival at Kovalam check into Hotel. Rest of the Days at leisure on the beach at Kovalam enjoy the scene of Arabian waves embracing virgin sands in Kerala -Gods own country. OverNight stay at Hotel, Kovalam.
Day 08: Kovalam
Day at Kovalam. Take a day visit to Trivandrum. Visit Veli Tourist Village, Napier Museum, Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Return to Kovalam in the evening. Overnight stay at Kovalam.
Day 09: Kovalam – Cochin (235 kms / 5 hrs)
After breakfast check out & proceed to Cochin. On arrival check-in at hotel and then proceed for city tour of Cochin which includes Chinese fishing nets, Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace, Hill Palace Museum etc. Overnight stay at Cochin.
